The book starts off with Brie on a blind date with a guy she can't remember the name of "Chad-Brad-Tad". While he's talking Brie thinks about other awful first dates that she has been on, which is funny.
The attraction between them is instant, until Brie realizes that her app date is also the inconsiderate neighbor who parked his truck in the way so her trash couldn't get picked up and blew commedy about online dating everywhere or is he? The only part I didn't like was the sex scene, it was too long and drawn out for the overall length of the book.
There is a happy for now type of ending. Hilarious, romantic, laugh-out-loud fun read! It was good to the last page! It's not every day that you find short books with fully developed characters and enough depth to make you feel like you are reading a full-length romance novel.
Online Dating is one of those books. It had all that and much more -with a HEA and no cliffhangers. I read it in one sitting, because it was so good, I was cracking up and eager to see how it ended. Brie thought she had everything that she wanted in her life except for a guy to go out on dates with. So she figured she would try her hands with online dating.
This story is told from Brie’s POV. It's funny suspenseful and angsty. I liked Brie from the moment I read the first page and as she navigated her way though the online dating app l fell in love with her sassy personality. Loved her so much I had no choice but to add her to my list of Top 5 most-favorite heroines. I would definitely recommend Online Dating. It's a must-read! Thank you Mika Jolie! The short story was good, but not great.
I downloaded it because it's labeled as a, laugh out loud romantic comedy, but I didn't LOL at all. Actually at one point it was awkward and rather immature. Brie gives a run down on some of her worst dates, and I'm sure some people will find them funny, but I didn't. I'm not a big fan of the main character, Brie. She complained about her neighbor parking in front of her trashcan so they didn't pick up her stinky trash and she had to pull it back into her garage.
I'd have left it outside, who wants burnt rotten cabbage smell in their garage. She tries to confront her neighbor about it, but can't reach him. There's a predictable moment where you know the neighbor and Brie will get together, but Brie has revenge in mind.
Commedy about online dating dumps lawn clippings commedy about online dating his hot tub. That was the part I thought was awkward and very immature, commedy about online dating. You're a grown adult, who's excited about owning your first house and you can't have a civil conversation with your new neighbor, grow up. It's a good thing that her new neighbor seems to like her kind of crazy.
This wasn't a book or a novella, not even a short story. It's a one night stand between two neighbors, Jake and Bryanna. He's White and she's Black which had no commedy about online dating on the story. They've never met but she's mad at him because she thought he blocked her driveway preventing her garbage from being picked up.
